Hire Pep for Your Event

Ever noticed how much we collectively seem to crave real, deep connection?

There are many reasons for this. One aspect is lifestyle and culture (the decline of community).

But an often ignored aspect is that connection is a skill, and most people have never learned it or experienced how deep it can go.

I help people access this skill quickly, together, in fun and deeply fulfilling ways.

There are so many spaces designed to serve this need we all feel, from questionable clubs and bars in dim-lit back alleys all the way to curated networking and speeddating events or exclusive retreats.

Everyone is there for the same reason: to connect.

Still, that doesn’t mean they know how (or how to take it to the next level).

Which is where I come in: creating experiences that naturally allow this to happen, or even teach it as a skill.

So that in the end attendees leave the event feeling more deeply connected to the people they just met there than to many others they’ve known for years.

(And if they did already know each other, they feel like they just uncovered surprising new depths they didn’t know were there.)

So what exactly does this look like, and what type of events or places would benefit from having me on?

Honestly, if you have a gut-feeling it might serve yours, just trust it and reach out. But here are 5 common shapes:

Facilitating New Connections

If you host an event that is about meeting new people, whether it’s networking, speeddating or dinners with strangers, I can facilitate games or table topics that get people to connect on another level right away—in a way that makes the magic of the evening worth mentioning and each conversation unique.

(Unlike “we did that icebreaker where you say___” or “some interactions were interesting but it really depended on the person in front of you”).

Long-Term Group Connection

If you host a retreat, run a co-living space, own a nomad hub or have a team that would benefit from more coherence, I can do residential work:

Daily guided sessions tailored to the evolving relationships within the group.

That means working with anything that came up, is unexplored, wants to be explored, or needs to be resolved (e.g. conflict or concerns within the group).

But it also means more expansive version of guiding people to deeper connection in general:

When people regularly say “in 15 minutes I felt more connected than with some people I’ve known for 15 years”, imagine what a week of daily sessions with games and conversations tailored to a group can do!

Authentic Relating Events

If you are organizing (or looking to organize) an event and want to offer Authentic Relating or similar modalities (NVC, Circling, Embodiment practices,…), I am an experienced facilitator, coach and spaceholder, and can bring in (or connect you with) other qualified facilitators all over the world.

You can either hire me to create a custom experience from scratch, or as a co-facilitator / spaceholder in an experience which you created.

Integration Sessions

If you are hosting an event where people go through an intense experience together (anything from working with psychedelics to being on a reality tv show or engaging in challenging competition together), I can offer a full day session at the end for the group to reflect on and integrate the intensity of the experience together before going back to the daily grind.

Custom Experience

Lastly, if you’re like “hey, I think my friend group/cricket team/military unit/swingers club/backgammon tournament/palliative care department/best friend/group of actors exploring their characters could really benefit from being guided towards deeper connection with ourselves and each other somehow”, just reach out, tell me what made you curious and we can hop on a call to see if there’s a way I could serve you or if I know someone who can.

One added reason to bring me on isn’t the content of an event itself, but having someone who can hold a group in what happens when things get real.

Real connection can’t occur unless there is possibility for disconnection too.

Because you can’t discover what connects you unless you’re willing to know what wouldn’t.

So any place where connection is the aim runs the risk of tensions, emotions and challenges surfacing.

In fact one of the reasons people still struggle with approaching each other or opening up at connection events in the first place:

Vulnerability isn’t just a cool relationship buzzword, it also actually makes you vulnerable to things

In such moments, you ideally have 1 or more trained people who can hold both the group and the individuals in a safe way.

Part of what I bring to your space is the experience to turn such moments into doorways for deeper connection, rather than brush past them, have them escalate, or have participants leave the event with a sour taste.

In my experience, this difference is felt in the room from the start.

And part of what makes it easier for people to open up and relate is how it is held. Which is a felt sense of safety few things can replace.

If you’d love to have me on your event (or are simply curious if we’d be a match), you can use the form below to write me a message, with as little or as much detail as you want.

You can expect an email back from me in a matter of days with an invitation to discuss things in a call, or an honest decline (with an aligned referral if possible).

Much love,

Pep
